The Otago Goldfields Heritage Trust

Has been organising the New Zealand National Goldpanning Champs for the last 33+ years!

We are active event organisers and community fund raisers through such other events at the Goldfields Cavalcade, Postie Bike Rally and Spring Kick Starter.

Odette and Terry are paid office staff who organise these events and project manage a variety of heritage restorations and site reviews.

Also onboard for the World Champs special organising sub-committee are:

David and Amanda Gatward-Ferguson - Long association helping to organise the New Zealand National Champs as well as attendees at various World Champs.

Megan and Stu Ide - Long association helping to organise the New Zealand National Champs as well as Gold Medal winners at the World Champs Scotland - 3 person National Teams.

Kelly Cruickshank - NZ Travel Broker of the year 2025! Vast experience in large event management. Current committee member of Cromwell and Districts Promotion Group.
